Honestly, I was rather dreading this trip because it entailed 3 hours by boat to our fishing location and then 3 hours back. So, by the time you've signed off and there's no more fishing, you still have a long ride ahead of you.
I also discovered what sea sickness was. I didn't throw up or anything but our seats were right next to the kitchen vent and the bait. For the 3 hour ride in, I got to smell food and bait (squid) and I don't think my body could figure out what was happening with the smells. Anyway, I caught my limit of red snapper within 5 minutes of stopping to fish. Good timing really, as I was reeling up that second fish there was a large swell and I felt my stomach doing crazy things. I decided to retire to the upper deck where the wind was blowing and the smells weren't mixing.
That being said, here a few more pictures from the excursion.
