I guess that was my turning point. I started to really appreciate what was around me. Instead of watching Family Guy or reading my Kindle on the road, I decided to start paying attention to the beautiful sights around me. It wasn’t long before I was rewarded. Within the last hour alone I have seen two different herds of mountain sheep, elk, bison, and a moose. We have seen very little wildlife on this trip and today of all days it stops being shy.
The colors here are amazing right now, and I’m sure they’re only going to get brighter. The yellows are so vivid and the patches of yellow dot the hills like Dalmatian spots. I am in a very happy place.
