Also, I'm pretty sure TC took this picture. :)
Two years and two days ago, TC proposed to me under the St. Louis Arch. I'll be honest, I have no idea what he said except that he asked me to marry him. My mind kinda went blank as soon as I figured out what was happening. I said yes, and two years and two days later, we are happily married with a bright future ahead of us. Looking forward to all the good times life has in store for us!

I miss this place. There are a lot of things I miss about Scotland, and there are some things I don't. Do you know what I miss the most?
I miss the cold, rainy days. Where was I on this day five years ago? I was in South Korea and I was nearing the end of my semester there. It was a bittersweet time, and this is one of those pictures that really brings me back. I remember this day. I remember the sights, the smells, the sounds. I miss Korea.
I can't believe it's been two months since I last posted a picture for you guys. I better get to that. I recently had the privilege to take pictures at someone's wedding and it was in a super fun venue that was totally lit by Tiffany lamps. So, here is a shot from that day:
I really like repairing old pictures. This isn't the best example of stuff I've done because I'm still working on it, but it is the most recent and probably the most drastic repair I've done. I've got boxes of pictures to scan and edit. I'm looking forward to it. :)
I haven't posted any pictures of the critters in a while, so here are a few to tide you over until I get the camera out again to show them off.
I need to work on my portraiture. Surprisingly, the most difficult thing about it for me is the interaction with other people. I feel awkward and unsure. I have all these wonderful plans and as soon as my subjects arrive it all goes out the window. I guess I just need to keep practicing. So, if you like my stuff, volunteer for a photo shoot and when I'm in the area I may just take you up on that!
These are in chronological order starting in 2010. You can see more on my Portraits page. Here are a couple pictures from our recent trip to Budapest. If you want to see more, you're going to have to check out my Hungary Hungary Honeymoon page.
I decided to try something new with the fireworks this year. Instead of taking typical fireworks shots, I played around with the focus on the camera. Here are a few shots of the fireworks, but you can find all of them on my Fireworks page.
Some good friends of mine got married recently. It was a beautiful wedding, and everyone had a great time! I will do a separate post later about the amazing theme. For now, here is a brief look at the wedding dress.
