I used to drive past this all the time and I always wondered why the barbed wire was facing inwards. Normally, if you don't want something or someone to get into an area, the barbed wire on the fence would point outwards. Either the person who put up the fence is wholly incompetent or the children who play on that playground are more dangerous than I would care to imagine. It's Houston, so I feel like both of these options are legitimate.
I generally like to take Rommy Dearest on a walk. Today we walked around "Lake" George. I put lake in quotes because it is actually a pond. This is not the first time we've done this walk, and I'm always excited about the new tracks we'll see in the mud. Here is a sampling:

The "lake" is right next to a dog park, and Rommy got to see a good friend of hers.
His name is Toby, and he's just a puppy too! He's full grown, and I hope Rommy gets to be that big. When they stand really close together, it's hard to tell which one is which.
