- A Nietzschean pride is mentioned by name (Orca, Kodiak, Drago Kazov etc. Dragon is acceptable in place of Drago Kazov)
- There is sexual tension between Dylan and the female guest star
- Tyr makes a literary reference
- Rommie argues with herself (the other Andromeda avatars)
